How do you calculate days between two dates?In order to calculate days between any two dates, you simply need to subtract one date from the other. For instance, the invoice date mentioned in cell A2 is 1/1/2016 and that of the paid date mentioned in cell B2 is 1/30/2016, the formula B2-A2 will be entered to fetch the number of days between these two dates.
How dates are calculated?Calculating the dates is very simple. Divide the last two digits of the year by 4 and remove the remainder. For example, in case of one’s birthday, if the year is 1989, take the last two digits i-e 4. Thus, 89/4=22. Now add this resultant number to the last two digits i-e 22+89=111. (To calculate the dates in 1700s, add 4).
