To save space, number groups with only 0 are often left out. Instead, a colon is used to show that there is a break. 684D:1111:222: is an example.

IPv6 has nearly 3.41038 times as many IP addresses as IPv4. This means that IPv6 will never run out of unique IP addresses. Some people also say that IPv6 is a better technology because it is more efficient and gives better quality and connectivity.

2. Using new technology is hard if you don't get something out of it immediately. IPv4 still meets our needs, and a worldwide change is not likely until we reach its limit.
